Assembly Practcie & Asia Exhibition Preparation

This week we mostly focused on the assembly and the Asia Exhibition. We also did other subjects too.

We've have started to finish our booths this week because on Tuseday 29th October, is our assembly and exhibition. Here are some photos of making our booths. Please enjoy!

In classtime we have started to start the Unit 3. So in English, Mr Lito gave us a poem to memorize. It goes like this:

Matter, Matter Everywhere
There's a matter in your hair
In the air
There's even matter in a pear
There is liquid matter, solid matter, and matter that's a gas
Even you are matter because you have volume and mass

Joseph_Unit3 Week1_24/October/13

today we have learned a little about gas, liquids and solid. We also have the exhebition about asian countrys. The exhebition is also about, dramas, mandarin songs, asia song and many more. This week is a very cool week so I wished that I would have another week like this week, its fun, enjoyable, and so nice. I love it and it have super fun activaties. I've been proud and not proud on my projects but still on I will continue. I wish I will also have another fun week on the next one.

Nicholas weekly reflection week 1 unit 3

First, we prepare the assembly. Then we practice for the assembly. The presentation are Mandarin, Maths and Map. There are 3 presentation. Then we keep practicing for the assembly. The assembly is on Tuesday. First we practtice Mandarin first.We have to sing the Mandarin song. Second we sing the Maths song. Third we must hold our map. Fourth is the english drama. In english drama i don't join the drama. Racheal, Ivvone, Adel and me make the donkey. And then we keep practicing in the hall. racheal,Ivvone,Adel and me. Then we prepare for asia exhibition tour. And then we display the board with our group.My group are Jillian, Angel, Keanu, Miracle and me. Then Miracle and me is finding the good information about Bangladesh and Kazakhstan. I enjoy the assembly.

because i do try my best to do it and i also to try to finish on time cause this not a normal but it is exebition i am still what must decorate in the both because i have only half both only . i get the decoration idea from the Pullman hotel . i realy make the decoration almost the same at Pullman hotel . at the assembly i try my best to memorize the word for english and i aslo must momorize the at inquary and mandarin because it is have many movement to do than the singing . when i do to of them i fall a sleep when i go home i fall a sleep because i am very tired to do it. i cant miss my lesson at all because it is aspenzise

UNIT2 REFLECTION yvonne 5l

this week is so much fun.we also celebrate tmis birthday,there's lot's of food.and i ate alot but we need to ate up stairs.because in the great area is full of stores.so me and my friends are eating and playing up stairs.and i have lot's of fun,and at the end of unit 2.each of group make their own booth.i'm talking about japan and my friends are south korea,china and mongolia.we are from eastern asia.

In this week we are going to have assembly and going to perfom it. Why because it was the last day of unit 2. and we are going to unit 3. In unit three we are going to learn about gas,solid anf liquid. I am going to be ready for that day!!!! ^_^

this unit i learn about Asia countries . My group got south central and north asia.
In english, we practice the drama called "Donkey In The Market".In Maths , we learnt and memorize the fraction song.In Mandarin, we learnt and practice a song called "mo li hua" we also changed some movement and now my partner is my best friend Jasleen .Me and my group"angel,racle,keanu and nicholas". in this unit,i learnt about asia countries and relationships and connections between asia countries.in english we are practicing for the play called 'the donkey to market' and in math i learnt about fraction,and miss lenny taught us the fraction song.on inquiry i learnt so much about indonesia and i made a map of indonesia.on mandarin,i learnt how to sing and dance with mandarin song called 'mo li hua'.and my partner was Gav,but some boys complained,so now my partner is my best friend Jillian.and i,aurel,fred and darren is also making our booth or stand about south east asia and my country is indonesia,aurel's country is philippines,fred's country is singapore and darren's country is thailand

Unit 2 Reflection - Adel

This week we had lots of things to do.
Recently we have learned the countries of asia and since next week is our assembly, we have been practicing. We've been practicing our songs called 'The Countries Of The World', 'The Fraction Song' and the chinese song called 'Mo Li Hua'. We also did a play from Cambodia called 'Donkey To The Market'. I have also been practicing my lines for the assembly since I'm the narrator. We have also started to be designing our booths for the Asia Exhibition. Since the Asia Exhibition is next Tuesday. I am really excited to be doing the exhibition because it is a new experience.

in this week we were preparing for the assembly ,we had a lot of fun ,we also decorated the board for the asia exhibition. We all felt tired but at the same time really excited and happy. Besides the Asia Tour Exibition(ATE) we are going to sing an asia country song, Maths fractions song, china national anthem with dance, and we are goint to play a drama called donkey to the market(folktale from Cambodia). It will be a hard week preparing for ATE and Assembly...

This week we did a lot of things like:
Prepare for assembly
Practice the Asia Exhibition
Prepare the display board etc.

I had a lot of fun doing this but it was tiresome too. This unit was really exciting and fun.I learned a lot of things about other asian countries.Like, their relationships between countries.
In English,we learn about the folktales and myths of asian countries and made a triorama
In BI, we translated our triorama story in Bahasa Indonesia.
And in Inquiry, we did reaserch on the assigned countries and do a lot of songs and projects.
In conclusion, I learned and had a lot of fun this week.

This week we are getting ready for the pyp exebition and for the assembly. The PyP Exebition and the assembly is getting nearer and we need to be fast to make our booth nice and looks good for the people interested and also we need practice.

In this unit i had so much fun preparing for the Asia Tour exebition with my group. We have been preparing our projects and boards as a group for the Asia Tour exebition. We learned alot about Asia such as the regions, countries, and the tradition. In maths we learned about fractions in addition, subtraction, multipliying and dividing. In english we practiced for a drama called "Donkey to the Market". In ICT we made a brocure for our board for the Asia exebition.

NENA REFLECTION OF ASIA EXHIBITION AND ASSEMBLY PREPARATION

DURING OUR PREPARATION, WE PRACTICED FOR THE ASSEMBLY AND ALSO DECORATED OUR BOARD FOR ASIA EXHIBITION. IT WAS SOMUCH FUN, BUT IT WAS ALSO TIRING.I REALLY ENJOYED OUR PREPARATION TIME BECAUSE WE CAN LEARN TO USE OUR TIME WISELY. IT WAS A VERY BUSY WEEK, BUT WE ALL REALLY ENJOYED IT. WE ALSO LEARNT A LITTLE ABOUT STATS OF MATTER. WE DIDN'T HAVE SO MUCH HOMEWORKS THOUGH :P, BECAUSE WE DID TOO MUCH THINGS AT SCHOOL ALREADY. Unit 2 week 5 reflection Yuka

This week is a fun week. Because this week we are celebrating the 19th birthday of TMIS with spectrum cup. So….. There is bazzar everywhere! Almost. There is also competition about soccer and basket. And finally, the food that I like the most in spectrum cup goes to…………. French fries! Yay. On Saturday, I play many games at school. I got so many stamps that are enough to buy a bag. I also go to a bouncing castle that has a slide and I keep on sliding with it. We also being entertained by Saykoji with their super fast rapping.

And our basket team wins third place. YAY!

Jillian unit 2 week 4 reflection

This week was great . First of all we have our school birthday and every student got a lovely cupcake. This week we also have religious service at 9:20.
In English, we continue our unfinished work and Mr. Lito tell us a story about the five Chinese brother and Triograms.
In Inquiry, we have to continue all the unfinished project and we have too finished it.
In PE we play dodgeball.
In Friday, we have to clean up our class because our class will be use for open day.

This week was perfect this week is the schools birthday and in monday to friday, we had a test about fraction I did understand the test and in english Mr. Lito tell us a story about the 5 brothers and the shape something. We don't have a test though.

Gabriel Unit 2 Week 4 Reflection 4 October 2013

This week I had a wonderful time on learning English, Bahasa, and also Mandarin Languages.I had a test on Friday about fractions and we also had a Religious service and Tomorrow(5 October) will be the opening day of the TMIS(Tunas Muda International School) Spectrum cup which has lots of participation from other schools.

Unit 2 Week 4 Reflection Kayla

This week is so exciting because its TMIS CUP! We had maths test about fraction word problems. This week is so fun because we played many games, we also have a new student named Adeline. It was so nice meeting her, she was humble,friendly,funny,confident and many more! I feel excited for this week because the next week is still TMIS CUP.

Reflection Unit 2 Week 4 - Adel

This week was really a busy week.

On Monday we made trioramas for English. It was quite interesting because I never learnt to make a triorama before. In Mandarin we learned the animals of the Chinese Zodiac. They were the mouse/rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat/sheep, monkey, rooster, dog and the pig. I also learned why they were placed in that order. They are placed in that order because the emperor had a race and the animals would be a chinese year.

On Tuesday, we had an assembly because it was the school's 19th birthday. Then it was PE. We played Dodgeball. After that we had English Class. I did my Skills Book since I already finished my triorama. Then it was lunch, after lunch we marked the Bahasa Indonesian Homework together.

On Wednesday, we had violin. It was a bit hard because I never played the violin before. After violin we had to go to the library to research what Indonesia produces, imports, exports and what relationships Indonesia had with other countries. Then it was break and after break, was the Bahasa Indonesian Spelling Test. I got 8/10 words correct.

On Thursday, first we had Math, we practiced for the test because tomorrow we have a test on the topic Fractions. After violin we researched what Indonesia produces, imports, exports and what relationships they have with other countries. Then it was break, after break was the Bahasa Indonesian spelling test. I got 8/10 words correct.

On Friday, first we had the Math's test. Then we had break early because at 9:20 we go to the religion service. First the preacher preached. Then we went to another room. In the other room we did a wordsearch and sang a song. Then we went back to class. When we were at class it was English class. Mr Lito told us the story of the Five Chinese Brothers. He also told a story about Triograms. Then it was lunch, after lunch the others accessed each others book about their country they were researching about. Then we sorted out our Portfolio and the Presentation Journal. After that was DEAR time. We could also clean the classroom because it will be Open Day soon.
