Angle Types

I have learned that there are diffrent types of angle.
Acute angle:
It is an angle that is measured more than 0 degree and less than 90 degrees. It is smaller than the other angles.

Right angle:
It is an angle that is measured 90 degrees. It is larger than acute angle.

Obtuse angle:
It is an angle that is measured between 90 degrees to 180 degrees.

Straight angle:
It is an angle that is measured 180 degrees.

Reflex angle:
It is an angle that is measured more than 180 degrees and less than 360 degrees.

Zero angle:
It is an angle that is measured 0 degrees.

Complete angle:
It is an angle that is measured 360 degrees.

What I've learned:

I learned that there are a lot of types of angles and each of them have a special name. one of them is called Acute angle. Acute angle is an angle that is less than 90 degrees. There is also a right angle which is right at 90 degrees. Strait angle is an angle that is 180 degrees straight.An angle which is greater than 180 degrees is called a Reflex angle, bending knees is also one of the example of a Reflex angle. There are more kinds of angles too not just strait,Reflex,acute. So angles are basically all around us, in books our table, and more!

I learned that an acute angle is 90 degrees, a straight angle is straight and is in 180 degrees. If the angle is greater than 180 degrees but less than 360 degrees, that is a reflex angle. I also learned that a right angle is measured in 90 degrees and that right angles are perpendicular.

In this video, I learnt that if we look at a clock, 2 hands represent 2 rays meeting at the point. And that if 2 rays have a common point, they form an angle. The 2 rays that form the angle are called the arms. The common point is called the vertex. We measure angles in degrees and to measure angles we use a protractor. The meeting point of the horizontol edge is the central point. Depending on the position of the arms there are different types of angles. And angles that are more than 0 degrees and less than 90 degrees are a acute angle. An an acute anhle that is measured in 90 degrees are called a right angle. An obtuse angle are bigger than acute angle, they measure between 90 degrees and 180 degrees. The angle that is measured in 180 degrees is called a straight angle. An angle that is measured more than 180 degrees and less than 360 degrees is called a reflex angle. But if the angle has 0 degrees that's a 0 degree angle. And when the arm takes a complete turn than an angle that measures 360 degrees is formed. This type of angle is called a complete angle.

The video I've seen was full of amazing and suprising information of angles. They explained to us that everyday you will always see angles everyday, and it's impossible to not see an angle because there are 7 kind of basic angles, they are: zero angle, acute angle, right angle, obtuse angle, straight angle, reflex angle, and complete angle. It was fun wacthing the videos and I felt happy doing this report because they excite us and make us feel very curios and confident to find out about angles like the ones I've mentioned.

Unit 5 ICT reflection Aurel-5L

During Unit 5, In Ict, we were asked to make a drawing in Autodesk Sketchbook Pro. This drawing is about what was before and what happened to the natural resources that was used by us humans.      I chose to draw about what happen to the ocean after all the pollution. I chose this topic to show people what happens to the animals and the coral in the ocean when they are using oil. They are dying. It took quite a long time to finish it and it was sort of hard but I am quite satisfied of my work. This task helped me to improve in certain areas of my computer skills like drawing on a computer. We had to draw a draft on a paper with a pencil and color pencil and open the program and start working on it.

ICT Unit 5 Reflection

In this unit we had to make a drawing like a before an after scene. We had to make our drawing on a piece of paper. This is the draft for our ICT project which is on the computer. We made the drawing on a Sketchbook Pro. I made the drawing about trees. So on the before scene I drew people cutting down trees and on the after scene I drew the people replanting the trees again. This is my 1st time drawing on the computer so my drawing is not what I thought it would turn out like. But I gave my best and that is the importnat part. I am very proud of my work and hopefully next time when I draw on the computer again I will do better next time and I will feel more happy. That is all for my Unit 5 Reflection!

Unit 5 ICT Project Reflecti0n

This unit in I.C.T ( Information and Computer Technology) we used a progame called Sketch book pro to create a picture/drawing. Each of our pictures/drawings must have a theme relating to our unit’s topic (natural resources) and do a before and after. In my picture/drawing  I did a then and now about trees/deforestation.

Although i prefer photoshop  learning the program was quite simple. Most of the tools in photoshop was there and it has a lot of new tools  which is hard to recreate in photoshop. There was also a lot of possibilieties in there. Then there were new and sleeker copy and or rezizing.

But there was an issue i keep messing up my tools but it’s better.

	MY REFLECTION OF UNIT 5

 

In unit 5, we do all sorts of fun things. First, we typed about what we know about fossil fuels to tell Mr. Jimmy about what it is. We needed to  search or just write what we have already known about fossil fuels. This time, I decided to use the text that Mr. Lito (our english teacher) gave to us about fossil fuels. It was pretty fun and educational at the same time because as we type we can also learn about it. I love this project!

Then, we also made a poster type art project. First, we designed it in a piece of paper and colored it, that is our draft, I put a lot of effort into it. Then, we start to draw in sketchup pro. I had a lot of fun but at the same time it is very challenging as we have to have very steady hands to be able to draw in the computer. Most of my time was basically being used by undo-ing and erasing this and that or covering something with a square or circle. It was a very challenging task for me but I hope we will have future projects like this.

In ICT we need to draw about before and after about the resources like coal,water,wood but i also have to draw the after too , the after i draw like the modern days . We have to draw the before and after. We have to draw the picture in the scketchbook program. Because this unit we also learnt about it. I also research in some website and on some program.I also collect all information and write all information that i know .  It was really hard to draw in the computer,we also have to use the scketchbook program. It was really challenging because i rarely use computer to draw and i never use the scketchbook programme. Before i start the teacher also teach us how to use it , and i also learnt and try how to use it . I also dont really now how to draw so i ask the teacher and even my friends. I’ve made dome mistakes too.But i try my best to draw and do it . Actually, it was easier raw and do it with our hands.I try to learnt more about scketchbook too. Well, i also made many mistakes. But i really did try my best. But in the end i recognize it and it was not bad .

I t was a fun project too do and it take 3 days to finished that. Well, its not a bad project though.

ICT reflection

In ICT we make a project about before and after drawing. So first we must make a drawing of before and after, after that we need to draw the picture into the computer using sketch book pro 6.0.1. It was fun using the sketch book pro 6.0.1 because i can learn more about computer. In my drawing i made a before and after about cutting down trees because it is important to save our tree. Without trees they will be no oxygen and we will die and all of the living thing will also died, so trees are so important. i feel so happy to do this project because i can tell what happen if we keep on cutting down trees. I also can learn how to draw in the computer. It is actually very fun the first time i use this it looks so easy but i was wrong it is so hard. But i still enjoy it.

For ICT,we made a drawing in sketchbook.pro on the computer about coal in the past and the present but not the future.we spent a few weeks to finish the drawing because it is pretty hard to draw on the computer with the mouse.i have finished my drawing but some of my friends have not.It is kind of confusing because we just learned how to draw in a computer and sometimes i messed up the colour and the good thing is that you could make a straight line and you can mix the colours and you could pick what kind of pencil do you want to use,a thin one,a wide one and its hard to use paintbrush but its easy to use a wide marker.if you make a mistake,you have reverse it,its pretty cool,like a televisionand you can fast forward it,if you have a hard time making a circle by your own,you can just use the circle given and if you have a hard time making a straight line by your own,just click on the straight line,you could also make a square easily,just click on a square and size it,because its kind of hard to make a really perfect square by your own.

My Reflection 

In ICT, we have to do a drawing through the sketchbook programme that is provided in our computers. The drawing has to be about natural resources and its before and after. I chose coal, we use coal too much. If we waste our important natural resources, we can’t survive because we have no more electricty and food.. So I decided to make that. But before we start our drawing for real, we need to make a draft of how the drawing should be. So Mr. Jimmy gave us a blank paper for us to draw on, and after we finshed drawing, we will show it to Mr. Jimmy. After he approves, we may start. With our creativity, we can draw anything! I learned that we need to use our natural resources wisely. It may not last long! We had a hard time with some difficulties, luckily, Mr. Jimmy is able to help us with all of his knowledge. In that way, we have no more difficulties!... Well, we do have a bit of technical difficulties.. :p I also learned how to use the sketchbook programme. It was really hard though.. But I managed to solve my problem and just keep doing my job. It was really fun to make the drawing.. I am really proud of what i have done.

At ict we did some drawing about fossil fuels i did th coal drawing it was quite fun then we need to colour it then we tell how is it made first we made it in paper  then after were done we need to do it on the computer the it is called skethbook pro 6.0.1 it was really hard i did not like drawing in the computer but it was kind of fun because we learned to do stuff on the computer and how to color on the computer we learned that we have four kinds off drawing we could do like free drawing stroke and line and we could make squares and circles then thre are lots of pencil types like brushes fill and etc we could make curves and symetry and other intresting stuff it was a very intresting  at drawing in the computer and fun.

In ict we learn to draw the resources in the world.So we draw the before and after when there are still alot of resources and when its getting fewer.First we make a draft in a piece of paper.After we finish drawing in the paper we copy it to the computer, so we draw it again at the computer to look it nicer.We need to follow the drawing that we already draw at the paper, but we can add some more things to make it nicer.The program that we use to draw is SketchBook.We learn it first how to use it with our teacher then we start to draw it.In the program its much easier then the others program because there are like a pattern so we just trace it and we can move the pattern to the right place that we want to place it.We can divide the paper into half and if we draw a line at the other side it can mirror(mirror is follow what we draw at the other side).We even can make a picture like sketching it and its like we draw it we our own hand.My opinion this program is so useful for beginners to draw using with that program because if drawing its more easier using hands rather using mouse in the computer.Using mouse its a bit hard to controll it becuase sometimes its not straight to draw the line although its using computer.My feeling is this project is so fun so we can experience drawing using computer.

In this Unit we had so many project.

In PSHE: we'd been given a taking care of the raw Egg project.It was quite challenging because we have to bring the egg everywhere you go,like going to the mall,church and even we have to bring it to the bathroom. We also have to make a nest for the egg by using a tissue box.We have to bring it everywhere you go in 5 days, but if you brake it or lost it you have to redo and plus 7 days.We also cannot change the egg because ms.Regina already sign it.I've shown caring because i really care about the egg.It was a really fun project because we do it in action.

We also have a Earth hour project.We have to do the project in 2 weeks, and each of the day we have to do it in 1 hour.We cannot use gadgets , electricity , and many more.We also make it as a journal.I was so happy with the project because it was a really fun project.

In Inquiry : We had a project about "China Melt down",it is a eBook .We have to finished it within 7 weeks and 3 days.It was a hard project because we have to read it and made a report.

We also make it as a book and decorate the book.I really like this project because i can learn more about China.

In Inquiry,we also have too make a arts 3D thing with a recycle material.It is hard to make  it because we have to use a recycle material not a new one.I made a tie-dye shirt and sew some beads and i also made a cute pencil holder and made a tail out of yarn.It was a challenging and fun project .I love this project because i love to decorate things.

In ICT, we have to make a poster about before and after about the natural resources.First we also have to make a draft .Then we make the picture in the computer and color it.I like this project because i like to draw in the computer.

In English  we have to play a drama and my group me, Jasleen , Chelsea ,Adel and Sophia pick the "Windy Wizard" because it was the easy one. I became the Mother of Windy, Jasleen become the Windy wizard , Sophia became  the narrator, Adel became the Sun and Chelsea became the wind. We cooperate really well in the project and we really have fun in the project. No one was stressed out in this project . I really have fun in this project , i wish we'll have it again .

In English we also have an essay to write, it was about health so i choose about dandruff .It was a challenging project because we have to put all information in that essay.

In Math, we learn about average . We also have to cooperate with our own group about average. We have to measure our height ,our weight and many more .

At unit 5 we did a lot of projects at pshe we did the egg project we needed to make the egg not crack and make a report.Then we did the earth hour project we needed to use no electricity for one hour then show pictures as proof then make the report of what you did.
At inquiry we did the ebook project we needed to raed a book from the internet at make a report with values benefits facts and critical thinking.Recycled arts was quite fun because we needed to make materials out of recycled stuff i made a pouch.
Ict we did a drawing about fossil fuels then we needed to draw on the computer about the fossil fuels.
English we did a drama with every group we needed to make the props we had stories like fern fossils windy the wizard and mai.We also did essays about topics like cavities dandruffs etc.
Maths at maths we did an average project we needed to count the average example like sharpeners pencils your friends or books.

PSHE:-in egg project we have to keep our egg from cracking  for 5 days and then write a report about it.
      -in earth hour project we have to make a journal and put pictures about us not using energy for 1 hour   

Inquiry: -in the Ebook project we have to write about a report from the book named MELTDOWN.
            - we also make arts from recycled things. i made a piggy bank.

Unit 5 Reflection -= Frederik =-

      Unit 5 was great we had exiting projects and a field trip to another school, we learned a lot of information about fossil fuel and natural resource.
The first project we do is about an E-book, we need to read the book from the internet and after we understand reading it we must write a report about it.  
      After that project abut the E-book we do another project which i think is veeeeeeeerrrrryy.... boring, we must guard and defend an egg for 5-7 days and i succeed doing it and i did not learned a lesson in that project :(

We also did ICT project about fossil fuels , we need to draw them in the computer. The last project in the new unit 5 is that we recycle things to make another functioning thing with only recycled items, i think this project was fun and i do my best effort in it for some reason.

       I almost forgot to mention that in the old unit five which is the first half that is boring we do an English drama related to natural resources, I like it but our group don't prepare it very much so we pretty much lack the props.

        And I feel really happy about this unit although there are much challenges in it :)
