Friendship Week - Adel

Friendship week started on Monday. We chose our partners on that day. My partner was with Aurel. We could choose to have the same partner or not. I chose to be with Aurel for the rest of the week. If we have the same partner for the week, we wave to change sides of holding our hands together. We could either tie our hands or tie them together. Aurel and I tied our hands together.

We also had activities about the Friendship Week.
On Monday we made stockings and Fish Scales in Mandarin. The Fish Scales were for a big fish with all the messages we wrote in it. We wrote a Christmas Message for someone in the school. I chose Ms Lenny. We also sang songs and played games.
On Tuesday we made penguins and our message in the bottle for a friend. My message in the bottle was for Aurel. On Friday we gave our messages in the bottles. I got Aurel and Aurel got me. We also red books about friendship in class time. We red the books with our partners. We had to read fast because every few minutes we have to pass to the group.
On Wednesday we played two games. They were a game called Human Bingo and Piece Of My Rainbow. In the Human Bingo game we had to ask people about what they like written in the paper. The game was fun but a bit nosiy too.
On Thursday we watched two movies. They were Petualangan Sherina and a Santa Claus movie. While we watched Petualangan Sherina we ate some yummy popcorn. We also played a game called Heads or Tails. To play, you have to divide yourself into two groups. One is called Heads and one is called Tails. Then one person flips a coin and shouts the word Heads or Tails. If it's heads, the Tails must quickly run into there base so the Heads can't catch them. And if it's Tails who gets called out, the Tails have to catch the Heads. The group that gets the most players are the winners. I was in the Tails group. It was a bit tiring running but fun too.
On Friday was the end of our Friendship fun. I think friendship week is a great way to be a friend to others that have trouble doing it. It helps to make friendships stonger and go smoothly. I like that we do activites so we can cooperate and work together independently.

Nena frienship week reflection

This week, we learnt a LOT about friendship. We had our hands tied together with one of our friends and learn to cooperate and tolerate more with our friends. We also had some activities with our friendship partners. Few of them are making a penguin and making a tree with our thumbprints. We also made a friendship message in a jar project. I really enjoyed this week and feel like it is really useful for people who weren't  very tolerant at first and wanted to be more pleasing for their friends, just like me. My favorite activities in this friendship week was reading friendship books with our partners and making the scrapbook. I really like this week because we got to experience how it is to work with different people and so that we can find out the real personalities of our friends. I hope we can have more friendship weeks.

The freindship week just past.I felt great when we have friendship week.We have to tie one of our hands to a partner and we cannot use our hand that is been tied.I change partners everyday. My partners are Nena,Angel,Kayla and Jillian. We have to cooperate with our partner to do things. So we show friendship by cooperating and working together. We had a lot of activities.Example, making scrapbook, making message in a bottle, reading books about friendship, making friendship braclete and more.We can do the scrapbook in individuals, partners and groups.I choose todo the scrapbook in groups because we like to cooperate as a group. We share jobs.My group is Me,Nena,Kayla,Angel,Jillian and Jasleen. It is very fun having a friendship week but it is also hard to do things with one of our hands tied. But mostly I like friendship week.

Website Report_Aurel_21/11/13

Website report :

What I've learned from:
1.Website:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjZSMu2SXt4
Explanation:I learned about Solid which have molecules that are tightly together and have a definite shape,Liquid which have molecules that are apart and take shape of their container and Gas which have molecules that are far apart and do not hve a definite shape.

What I've learned from:
1.Website:http://www.chem.purdue.edu/gchelp/atoms/states.html
Explanation: I learned that  particles in a gas are well separated  and do not have a definite arrangement., particles in liquid are close together with no regular arrangement, particles in solid are tightly packed and usually in a definite arrangement.
  • Particles in a:
    • gas vibrate and move freely at high speeds.
    • liquid vibrate, move about, and slide past each other.
    • solid vibrate (jiggle) but generally do not move from place to place.
  • What I've learned from:
    1.Website:http://www.sciencekids.co.nz/gamesactivities/gases.html
Explanation: I learned that when a liquid is heated in one beaker which is attached to another beaker the gas will spread and when we cool it the gas turns to liqui and now the to beakers have the same amount of liquid, if we heat it again and lift the lids the gas will go out and fill the room.

IT MEANS HEAT CAUSE MORE MOVING BECAUSE THERE LARGE PLACE FOR THEM

IF TURNING WATER TO STEAM IT CAN CLEAN IT BECAUSE STEAM IS CLEAN

IN THIS ONE IS ABOUT GAS. GAS CAN MOVE FREELY BECAUSE IT WAS INVISIBLE AND MAKE US BREATH

    What I've learned from :
    1. Website: http://studyjams.scholastic.com/studyjams/jams/science/matter/solids-liquids-gases.htm
Explanation :heat ca.uses molecules to move faster

    2. Website:

Explanation :turning water to steam can clean it

    3. Website:
     http://www.chem.purdue.edu/gchelp/atoms/states.html
Explanation :i learned that gas move freely

Explenation: In this website I learned that each matter has its different form. In this website I learned from a game about matters.

    http://www.sciencekids.co.nz/videos/chemistry/solidliquidgassong.html
Explenation: In this website i saw many different objects in the 3 states of matter. In solid there were rocks, ice cubes, and marbles. In liquid there was water, ink, and milk. In gas there was steam, wind and helium.

Explenation: In this website i learned that atoms are not always the same in the 3 different states of matter.

    Website Report_Adel

    Website: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjZSMu2SXt4
Explanation: In this youtube video I learnt that small means Moles and Lumps means Coles. So if you put it together, Small Lumps is Molecules. I also learnt that the Solid Molecules are tightly packed together. Solid has a definite shape since the molecules are very close to them. Liquid Molecules are more far apart than the Solid Molecules but can move very fast. Liquids do not have a shape so they take the shape of their container they are in. The Gas Molecules are farther than the solid and liquid molecules. They also don't have a shape like the liquid so they move around freely.

    Website: http://www.sciencekids.co.nz/videos/chemistry/solidliquidgassong.html
Explanation: I learnt that ice, rocks is a solid, water, milk is a liquid and air, steam is a gas. When water is warm it's a liquid, when it's cold it's ice. When it's hot it becomes gas.

    Website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/ks2/science/materials/solids_liquids_gases/read/2/
Explanation: I learnt that solid stay in one place. Solids keep their shape. They don't flow like liquids. Solids always take the same amount of space. They don't spread like gases.
