At the first week of school at year 5 we did a lot of activities like learning new subjects, playing games and giving presentation.
At Inquiry the subject we learn is healthy or unhealthy food/activities. We watched video clips about carbohydrates, protein and activities that makes you healthy.
At Maths we learnt about whole numbers and we also did numbers hunting. At numbers hunting, we had to interview people and asked them about numbers.
At English we have a new teacher, his name is Mr. John. Mr. John asked us about our names. The next day he told us to do a presentation about our holiday, but because there are many students we continued the next day. After that, Mr.John gave us a worksheet and we have to fill in a word that fits in the sentences given.
At Mandarin we also have a new teacher. Her name is Laoshi Stacey and at ICT we have to test our typing speed and accuracy. My best typing speed was 23 wpm and my best accuracy was 100%.
On Friday me and my Muslim friends go to mosque to pray.
This week I learn how to be confident and to act politely. I also learn to communicate better with friends by playing ice breaking game.
